Essential & Primary Job Duties
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a field technician
· Educational background in diesel technology
· Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
· Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.
· Ability to work urgently in a team setting
· Clean driving record
· CDL is not required
· Ability to work outside bearing weather
· OEM Certifications are a plus
· Complete accurate and detailed work orders in a timely manner
· Ability to navigate computer programs
Responsibilities:
· Mechanical maintenance and repair on heavy construction equipment
· Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical circuits
· Maintain safety throughout daily tasks
· Opportunity to gain further OEM certifications
· Ability to work both in a shop atmosphere as well as in the field
