Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Help with mobility and transportation within the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
Skills
Candidates should possess a combination of the following skills:
- Level II trauma center experience
- Hospital medicine knowledge
- Emergency medicine expertise
- Experience in Level I Trauma Center settings
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) familiarity
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- Geriatrics knowledge
- Medical-surgical experience
- Inpatient care proficiency
- Teaching hospital experience
- Post-acute care experience
- Outpatient clinic experience
- Sub-acute care experience
