Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician, based in Belfast, ME. The technician will be responsible for conducting troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems, performing preventive maintenance, and installing and maintaining heating and air conditioning systems. Additional duties may include handling plumbing tasks, working with electrical systems related to HVAC equipment, and ensuring compliance with EPA standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance of HVAC systems
- Knowledge and experience in Plumbing and Electricity in relation to heating and cooling systems
- Proficiency in compliance with EPA regulations and certification (e.g., EPA Refrigerant Certification preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or vocational training is an advantage
- Previous experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair is preferred
