Duties
- Assist in framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry to ensure precise and durable structures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery safely and efficiently for various construction tasks.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry work.
- Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinets, and flooring with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration.
- Contribute to site preparation activities such as scaffolding setup, metal stud framing, roofing installation, and siding application.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or related fields with knowledge of carpentry techniques including trim, frame, metal stud framing, and roofing.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate project execution.
- Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical work, masonry, tile laying or flooring installation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; OSHA certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills such as CNC machining or schematics interpretation.
