A1 Dry Cleaners - Hiring Supervisors! Sundays off!

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our facilities maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for guests and staff. Previous experience in hospitality or dry cleaning is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Supervisors will oversee daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction and quality control. Responsibilities also cover assigning tasks, training new employees, monitoring inventory and supplies, and handling customer complaints. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to maintain a safe and efficient work environment while meeting production and quality standards. Key responsibilities

• Staff management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise dry cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards.
• Quality control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets company standards and has high-quality cleaning and finishing.
• Operations management: Coordinate daily activities, manage the workflow, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safety procedures are followed.
• Customer service: Address customer concerns, resolve complaints, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Inventory and supplies: Monitor the stock of cleaning supplies and materials, and order new items as needed.
• Administrative tasks: Review production and accounting records, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

Required skills and qualifications

• Previous experience in dry cleaning or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of different fabric types and cleaning methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving abilities for handling equipment issues and customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Handle dry cleaning and laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and other shared facilities
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
• Assist with dry cleaning tasks when required
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service to guests or staff members requesting assistance
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment

Requirements

• Prior experience in dry cleaners or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and familiarity with laundry processes is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions or inventory counts (if applicable)
• Ability to handle cash handling or cashiering duties if required for the role
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability and punctuality are essential
• A positive attitude and dedication to providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment
