As a Roadside Technician, you will be the frontline hero for drivers in need, providing prompt and professional assistance to get vehicles back on the road safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to roadside assistance calls, assessing vehicle issues on-site with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Perform essential vehicle repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-offs, and minor mechanical fixes
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized equipment like an ohmmeter to identify faults accurately
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met before returning vehicles to service
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams and customers to provide updates and ensure a positive experience
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common vehicle problems confidently
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and basic vehicle maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with electrical testing devices such as an ohmmeter is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward customer service
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely
- All required tools needed for the job Including Battery pack, Lock out rod, Two bag inflaters, 2 lockout wedges, An impact drill and all equipment to complete a tire change
- Must also have at least a year of prior mechanical experience needed for the job
