Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems at client locations.
- Provide technical support for operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and other relevant platforms.
- Troubleshoot network issues involving LAN configurations and firewalls to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist clients with IT support inquiries, utilizing tools such as Remedy for ticket management.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical challenges and provide timely solutions.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure reliability.
- Document all service activities accurately in accordance with company protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in computer networking and technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and computer hardware components.
- Familiarity with firewall configurations and LAN setups is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Experience using IT support ticketing systems such as Remedy is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
