Job Title: Lead Residential HVAC Technician Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lead Residential HVAC Technician who will perform hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, professionalism in customer homes, and the ability to work independently while representing the company at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential heating and air conditioning systems
- Diagnose HVAC system issues and provide accurate repair solutions
- Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding system operation, repairs, and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in customers’ homes
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and on time
- Manage service calls independently and efficiently
- Provide technical guidance when needed, without formal supervisory duties
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of residential HVAC experience
- EPA certification required; additional HVAC certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
