Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure safe and effective results.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens with care.
• Clean floors thoroughly through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces pristine.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces by dusting furniture, fixtures, and appliances regularly.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Use janitorial and custodial experience to ensure all areas meet sanitation standards; adapt outdoor work skills when necessary for exterior cleaning tasks.
• Operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Organize cleaning supplies and manage time effectively to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures is essential.
• Experience with cleaning detergents, janitorial tools, and commercial cleaning equipment will set you up for success.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their specific needs.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for exterior or garden-related cleaning tasks.
• Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
