General Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a general laborer to become an integral part of our team! In this role you will be handling all incoming electronic commodities, materials and parts that will be sent for dismantling and recycling.

Responsibilities:

• Unpack, unload, separate, and sort all electronics for dismantling and recycling
• Lift, stack, wrap, and prepare pallets for outgoing shipments
• Lift, stack, and prepare pallets for interdepartmental transfers
• Process incoming and outgoing products in a fast-paced manner in order to meet quotas
• Perform daily tasks while adhering to all health and safety measures and policies
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to handle physically demanding and strenuous tasks
• Ability to handle extreme temperatures while performing physical labor
• Experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, lifting, reaching, and bending
• Regularly lifting 50 pounds at a time throughout the day
• 10 Hour shifts in a non-air-conditioned warehouse
• Extended periods of time unloading dumpsters and/or trailers in an outdoor environment
• Stacking, wrapping, and moving pallets with a pallet jack

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent: preferred but not required
• Language: bilingual required
• Minimum of 3 years physical labor experience: required
• Basic familiarity of electronic devices, materials, and parts: highly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

• Must be available to work early morning and some Saturdays
