Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods, while maintaining accurate records to comply with company and customer documentation requirements.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials and complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements and specifications
- Conduct pre-production inspections to ensure processes are correct before production begins
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and procedures
- Conduct final inspections of finished products to confirm all operations and documentation are complete for shipment
- Maintain inspection fixtures, gauges, and measuring devices to ensure accurate measurements and proper documentation
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy
- Prepare required documentation for shipment
Position Qualifications:
- Education: College degree preferred but not required
- Experience: 1β3 years of on-the-job training as a Quality Inspector; 3 years of related experience required
- Skills & Abilities: Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills; excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; ability to gather and evaluate information with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
