What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at A-Z Optics Inc.?
I’m looking for an energetic and friendly ophthalmic technician to work 2 x week at my Target Optical sublease. The candidate should have excellent customer service skills. The main tasks include greeting the patients, ensuring they have filled out medical forms, and pretesting them. During downtime the tech is expected to answer phone calls, schedule eye exams, and look up vision insurance. I’ve been the main optometrist here for 15 years and we have a large established patient base. Extra consideration will be given if you also speak Spanish, as many of our patients speak Spanish.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
