Role Description
A&Z Engineering, LLC is seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Fort Wayne, or in Valparaiso, IN. The Senior Project Engineer will lead and manage engineering projects, oversee project planning and execution, and ensure technical excellence and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include designing and reviewing engineering plans, coordinating with clients and team members, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and providing innovative and effective solutions to engineering challenges.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Engineering and Project Planning skills to design, oversee, and manage engineering projects effectively.
- Proven expertise in Project Management, ensuring delivery of projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and their application to engineering projects.
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
- Prior experience within civil or transportation engineering sectors is highly desirable.
