Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to DETAIL and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. MUST be available Sunday and Monday 10-4pm for the reservation busiest checkout days! Also must fill out a 1099 form for taxes I do not withhold them.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in housekeeping management.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Experience in industrial cleaning settings is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
