Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Pay: Estimated $2,000–$3,000/month (based on experience and hours committed)
About Us:
A Wray of Sunshine is a new residential program dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care for adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our first resident will be a 16-year-old male with autism and an intellectual disability who requires consistent structure, support, and supervision.
Position Summary:
We're seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to oversee daily operations, ensure quality service delivery, and maintain compliance with Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and implement individualized support and behavior plans
Conduct assessments and progress reviews
Train, supervise, and guide direct care staff
Manage staffing, scheduling, and appointments
Record and maintain all required documentation in compliance with ADMH
Coordinate with families, providers, and regulatory representatives
Ensure program quality and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Must pass a federal background check, drug screen, and TB test
Location:
Odenville, AL (near Trussville and Center Point)
