What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher position at A Work of Heart Preschool and Childcare Center?
Hours: 12:00-6:00/9:00-6:00
The Infant/Toddler Teacher should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs. Be able to perform a variety of tasks in a fast pace environment, including; change diapers, bottle or spoon feed children, soothe infants, ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
Assist lead teacher with infant/toddler learning activities, and follow developmentally appropriate practices, and procedures within the field. Evaluate and monitor children’s activities. Work closely with other classroom teachers to prepare activities/lessons for children. Maintain a clean and healthy preschool environment, which facilitates learning and development.
Completes required training and guidelines as put forth by the Office of Children and Family Services.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
