The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, safe, and developmentally supportive environment while helping children build independence, social skills, and early academic readiness.Teachers do not need to create their own lesson plans — we provide a well-organized, structured curriculum along with learning materials, activities, and support. The primary responsibility is to implement the curriculum, engage with students through play-based learning, communicate with families, and contribute positively to the classroom environment. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities • Supervise and care for a class of two-year-old children• Implement our center’s structured curriculum and daily activities (no lesson planning required)• Create a welcoming, safe classroom where children feel loved, supported, and confident• Promote social-emotional development, early language skills, and hands-on learning• Maintain a clean, organized learning environment following safety and hygiene protocols• Communicate daily with parents regarding progress, behaviors, and milestones• Follow center policies, licensing requirements, and classroom management expectationsQualificationsPrevious experience as a daycare teacher or childcare providerStrong understanding of child developmentPatient, kind, and nurturingExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to lift 20–30 lbs and support active play and movementMust meet NJ childcare licensing requirements for employmentCPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
