We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanic Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist skilled mechanics in the maintenance and repair of various vehicles and machinery. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive or mechanical field while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics in diagnosing issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Help with routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical systems and components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Support the mechanics in disassembling and reassembling parts as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding job progress and any challenges encountered.
- Must be willing to work a day or two in the field doing truck washing.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools; experience atleast one year is a must
- Familiarity with dealing with pressure engines is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina, as the role may require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
