What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver Class A position at A-Ware Enterprises Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive semi truck.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 4 years.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
- Ability to operate semi truck safely and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physical stamina and strength to operate semi truck.
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers and team members effectively.
