A’vie Salon & Day Spa is looking for a passionate, professional, and licensed Massage Therapist to join our team as an employee—not an independent contractor or room renter.

What Could Your Earning Potential Look Like?

Our therapists typically have the opportunity to perform approximately 4–5 appointments per working day, depending on bookings and service lengths.

For illustration, at $55 commission per completed one-hour massage:

• 2 days/week × 4 massages/day = $22,000 annually
• 3 days/week × 4 massages/day = $33,000 annually
• 4 days/week × 5 massages/day = $55,000 annually

These examples assume 50 working weeks per year and exclude tips. Actual earnings depend on completed appointments, service mix, pricing, and guest demand. Earnings are not guaranteed.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a massage therapist who:

• Holds a current Michigan Massage Therapist license in good standing.
• Is confident providing customized therapeutic massage.
• Has experience with Swedish and deep tissue massage; additional modalities are a plus.
• Conducts thoughtful consultations and understands guest needs, preferences, and contraindications.
• Provides a memorable experience from consultation through checkout.
• Is comfortable recommending appropriate follow-up appointments, massage enhancements, and home-care products.
• Completes accurate treatment documentation and maintains guest confidentiality.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and relaxing treatment environment.
• Is dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Welcomes coaching, education, and constructive feedback.
• Takes ownership of building and maintaining a loyal clientele.

Experience with hot stone, hot bamboo, or other specialized massage modalities is a plus.
