A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical and computing industry, seeks a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist. We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to support day-to-day data entry, data maintenance, and administrative coordination. This role requires strong accuracy, comfort working with spreadsheets and trackers, and the ability to communicate clearly via email and Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in Smartsheet and other internal trackers.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, formatting).
- Perform routine data quality checks to identify missing, inconsistent, or duplicate entries.
- Organize and manage email communications and follow-ups using Microsoft Outlook.
- Track tasks, deadlines, and status updates; escalate issues or discrepancies when needed.
- Generate basic reports/exports from Smartsheet and Excel for stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle data in accordance with company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet (updating sheets, using forms, filtering, reports/views is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, basic formulas, sort/filter).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook (email etiquette, calendar invites, organizing folders).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining dashboards, trackers, or operational logs in Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with data validation, standard operating procedures, or basic reporting.
- Prior experience working with sensitive or confidential information
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
