Duties
- Engage with potential customers through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and outreach to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
- Conduct personalized vehicle demonstrations and presentations, highlighting features that meet each customer’s needs.
- Negotiate deals confidently, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
- Manage inventory control and assist in inventory management to ensure the availability of high-demand vehicles for customers.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and support ongoing sales support activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, bilingual communication when applicable, and effective upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional strategies that attract new prospects and retain existing customers.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette during outbound calls and inquiries, providing clear information about vehicle options and financing opportunities.
- Support the dealership’s overall sales management efforts by organizing appointments, preparing sales reports, and participating in public speaking engagements or community events when needed.
- Will be pushing financing, picking up vehicles with a truck and trailer, handling phone calls, basically jack of all trades when working at a small car dealership
Requirements
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales, with a focus on Diesel trucks
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or outbound sales campaigns.
- Familiarity with CRM software and inventory management systems to streamline the sales process.
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing a robust sales pipeline and tracking multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for pricing, discounts, and deal structuring.
- Outstanding customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and public speaking capabilities.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards, dealership operations, inventory control, and marketing strategies is highly desirable.
