Customer Service Representative
A responsible, dynamic, and experienced Customer Service Representative is needed for a fast-paced behavioral health agency that provides I/DD waiver services. This is a temporary role with potential to transition into a permanent position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and manage receptionist area.
- Answer phone, screen calls, and take messages.
- Manage email and voice mail communication.
- Schedule appointments and meetings, as needed.
- Make copies and assemble packets of various agency materials and monitor need for additional copies.
- Maintains a good working relationship with staff, visitors, and other entities.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Appropriately and accurately files all agency documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Organize and order office supplies.
- Pulls records for consumer care, quality review, and audits in a timely manner.
- Assists Medical Records Specialist with performing internal audits of medical and billing records to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies including HIPAA, Medicaid, CARF, and agency standards.
- Observes confidentiality and HIPAA requirements in maintaining consumer records and communication with other entities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma is required. The selected candidate will be required to provide a copy of the diploma or transcript.
- At least 1 year experience in an Customer Service/Administrative Assistant position is required.
- Basic computer knowledge is required to include knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, and Access.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is required.
- Must be able to type 60 WPM.
- Must be professional: candidates must be mature, an excellent team player, show a positive attitude, and be committed to achieving expected results.

Preferences:
- Experience with MH/DD/SA services preferred but not required.
- Experience with medical records management preferred but not required.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
