Fast growing holistic day spa in West Hartford is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our talented team of professionals.

We are looking for an organized, positive, motivated and hard working team player with outstanding customer service and sales skills. Knowledge of beauty or wellness industry is preferred.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit our spa. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the spa
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Take payments and schedule appointments
  • Perform laundry
  • Educate out guests about services and specials
  • Maintain cleanliness of the spa

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Great sales skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school degree; additional certifications in Office Management, Sales, social media is a plus

Current hours:

  • Tuesday 11am-3pm

-Thursday 1 pm-8 pm

-Wednesday 1 pm -8 pm

-Friday 1 pm -6 pm

-every other Saturday 8.30 am-4 pm
