Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to perform tasks such as digging, bulldozing, loading, and transporting materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, Excavators, Dozers,loaders.
- Perform tasks such as digging trenches, grading, and moving materials
- Safely operate equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to project timelines and meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, excavators, or similar machinery
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Proficient in performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
