We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer/General Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise window installation and general construction tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to install windows, trim carpentry, doors, fixtures, cabinets, and metal studs according to specifications
- Perform dimensional measurements for quality control to guarantee proper fit and finish of installed components
- Handle heavy lifting safely while moving materials such as glass panes, framing materials, and other construction supplies
- Apply caulking, painting, and finishing techniques to ensure a polished appearance of installed windows and related structures
- Assist with remodeling projects by interpreting construction plans and executing tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or fixture mounting
- Follow safety protocols on-site, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure compliance with all OSHA standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction site work or general labor roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
- Strong measurement skills for quality control purposes
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Knowledge of window installation techniques and glass handling is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job location
