Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial projection models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Conduct variance analysis reporting to identify discrepancies between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and interpret key financial concepts such as profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Perform data analysis using Excel and financial reporting software to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Support corporate accounting functions by analyzing account data, performing cost accounting tasks, and assisting with internal controls.
- Collaborate with business intelligence teams to develop dashboards and reports that enhance decision-making processes across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or public accounting with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Proficiency in financial software systems, Excel data analysis, and financial reporting tools.
- Solid knowledge of accounting systems, IFRS standards, SOX compliance, and technical accounting principles.
- Demonstrated ability in financial model development, forecasting analysis, and variance reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent data analysis skills combined with strategic thinking and business acumen.
