About Us:

A to Z Coatings is a locally owned roofing and insulation company. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part time bookkeeper and administrative assistant. This role is vital in helping us stay organized and financially sound as we continue to grow.


Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, supporting budgeting and reporting processes, and assisting with general administrative duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a small team environment and is comfortable juggling a variety of tasks.


Key Responsibilities:


Bookkeeping Duties:

Record day-to-day financial transactions

Assist with accounts payable and receivable

Process payroll

Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting


Administrative Support:

Answer phone calls, emails, and manage scheduling

Maintain estimating and invoicing software

Assist with HR paperwork

Support special projects as needed


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or similar role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality


Preferred:

Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience with payroll processing

Strong computer skills

Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour


Expected hours: 20 per week


Schedule:


4 hour shifts

8 hour shifts

Day shift

Monday to Friday
