SAT/ACT Tutor - Math & Verbal Test Prep

$40-55/hour | Part-time | Jenkintown 

A Test Prep and Tutoring is more than just a tutoring company—we’re a family of educators passionate about helping students succeed. We’re seeking dedicated, experienced SAT/ACT tutors in the Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Delaware counties to join our team and build meaningful, long-term relationships with both students and colleagues. We prefer tutors able to prepare students for both Math and Verbal sections, but we will consider specialists in one area.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized, one-on-one tutoring for SAT/ACT Verbal and/or Math sections.
• Customize lesson plans and strategies to meet students’ individual needs.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with families to share updates and insights.
• Foster confidence, motivation, and test-taking skills in students.
• Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team of fellow educators.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree 
• 90th percentile score on the Math/Verbal SAT or equivalent in ACT (we will provide the test) 
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is strongly preferred
• Available for in-person tutoring at our Jenkintown office 
• Open to online sessions when needed
• Excellent communication skills and quick office response times
• Seeking long-term employment (2 years preferred)
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for education

Compensation and Benefits 

• Pay: $30.00–$55.00 per hour, depending on subject(s) taught and experience.
