A-TEK actively cultivates the talent that drives our success and fosters a creative, challenging, and mission-driven work environment for current and future employees.The AS-IS Drafting Coordinator (MEP) is responsible for developing accurate AS-IS condition drawing sets in support of facility management and ongoing building operations. This role consolidates original construction documents, record drawings, and documented field modifications into coordinated drawing sets, with a strong emphasis on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.The position requires a strong understanding of how building systems are documented and how these records are used by facility and maintenance teams. The AS-IS Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams and on-site maintenance staff to establish efficient workflows that support repairs, asset tracking, and day-to-day facility operations. Deliverables must be accurate, consistent, and suitable for long-term facility use.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, or related engineering disciplineMinimum of 5 years of experience working with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in existing facilities5 years of proficiency in AutoCAD, including production, coordination, and maintenance of MEP drawing setsDemonstrated experience producing and maintaining existing-condition and record drawing documentationStrong ability to interpret MEP construction documents, record drawings, and field markupsAbility to accurately document system layouts, equipment locations, and major distribution pathsSolid knowledge of Revit for model navigation, review, coordination, and exporting drawings to CAD and PDF formatsStrong ability to read, interpret, and manage architectural, structural, and MEP drawing setsExperience consolidating information from multiple drawing sources into a single coordinated deliverableAbility to coordinate with facility maintenance staff and incorporate field-verified information into drawing updatesStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet established schedules in an active facilities environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with space management workflowsFamiliarity with asset tracking and IWMS/CAFM systemsExperience working in occupied facilitiesCompensationSalary Range: $85,000 – $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with employer match; paid time off; professional development opportunities.#LI-OnSiteA-TEK, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
