Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the facility and surrounding areas.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
• Control access points by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations using established protocols.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment.
• Document all incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs for future reference.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activity and implementing security measures.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and experience with conflict management strategies.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and law enforcement procedures are preferred.
• Ability to remain alert during overnight hours while maintaining focus on security duties.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and emergency responders.
• Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
