The Remodel Apprentice will assist with kitchen, bathroom, flooring, and residential renovation projects throughout the Greater Austin area. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
- Assist with residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and general renovations
- Support demolition, material preparation, installation, and finish work
- Assist with installing cabinetry, vanities, trim, fixtures, flooring, tile, and other remodel components
- Help with drywall repairs, painting, framing adjustments, and finish carpentry tasks
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Load, unload, and transport tools and materials as needed
- Follow project scopes, layouts, and instructions from lead installers and supervisors
- Learn proper remodeling techniques, safety procedures, and company quality standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Keep tools and equipment in good working condition
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1–2 years’ experience in construction, remodeling, handyman work, carpentry, or related trades (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Pass a background and drug screening (required)
- OSHA 10 – Construction Certification (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in active residential jobsite environments
- Ability to lift at least 55 lbs
