Commercial Framer - Helper

A Team Home Services is seeking a motivated and reliable Commercial Framer - Helper to join our construction team. This role is specifically for commercial projects, but can transition to residential if work slows. As a Helper, you will support lead framers and carpenters in the construction of commercial buildings, including installing structural framing, walls, floors, and roof systems. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and eager to grow within the trades. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist framers with layout, measuring, cutting, and installation of wood or metal framing materials
• Load, unload, and stage materials on job sites
• Operate hand and power tools such as nail guns, circular saws, drills, and tape measures
• Help assemble walls, floors, trusses, and other structural components
• Measure and cut materials based on specifications
• Follow verbal directions, blueprints, and job site instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support adherence to OSHA and company safety standards
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned by Lead Carpenter or supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 years experience in drywall
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of construction and safety regulations.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license 
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Provide 3 references

Pay rate:

•  $16-$22 hourly
