Dental Receptionist – Full-Time

A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with an established private dental practice in Fresno, California, to recruit an experienced, friendly, and dependable Dental Receptionist for a direct-hire opportunity.
This people-oriented and team-focused practice has served the community for more than 20 years. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and comfortable supporting patients who may experience dental anxiety.
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday
- 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Full-time, direct-hire position
Compensation
- Up to $25 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a friendly, reassuring first impression
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
- Accurately enter and maintain patient information
- Present treatment estimates and discuss financial arrangements
- Collect payments and maintain accurate account records
- Monitor the schedule and help keep the office running efficiently
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
Requirements
- Previous dental front-office or dental receptionist experience preferred
- Dentrix experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of PPO dental insurance and benefit verification
- Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills
- Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payments
- Compassionate and patient when assisting individuals with dental anxiety
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a busy dental environment
