Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Hospice setting. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessments and treatments while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality.
Duties
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in ventilating patients when necessary and monitor their vital signs.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Experience
- Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and medical protocols.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a Hospice setting.
- Paper charting.
Requirements
- Active LVN license in good standing with the state of Texas.
- Up to date Immunizations.
- Must complete all pre-employment screenings required by client.
- At least 1 year under LVN license.
