Duties
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the educational needs of students.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs or requiring early intervention.
- Foster literacy education through engaging activities and assessments.
- Conduct standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children in daycare or preschool settings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Experience:
- Previous experience in teaching or working with children is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and educational best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members
- Experience in areas such as physical education, childcare, special education, or daycare is a plus
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and experience working with diverse student populations
- Understanding of educational approaches like Montessori or other progressive teaching methods
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.45 per hour
