Senior Electrician – Journeyman
A&T Mechanical | Edmond, Oklahoma
We're looking for an experienced, licensed Senior Electrician who can take ownership of projects, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and deliver high-quality workmanship. This is not a developmental position. We're looking for someone who knows the trade, works independently, and helps raise the standard of our Electrical Department.
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman License required
- Master Electrician License preferred
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience
- Residential and light commercial electrical experience
- Generac generator installation, service, and repair experience strongly preferred
- Generac certification is a significant plus
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to lead jobs and mentor apprentices
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Diagnose complex electrical problems and provide effective solutions
- Ensure work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards
- Lead jobs independently while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Mentor and develop less-experienced electricians
- Maintain accurate job documentation
- Deliver professional customer service
- Take accountability for workmanship and job completion
