What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator/Maintenance position at A & T Fence, Inc.?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time or full-time welder/maintenance person to join our team. The in house welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including assigning tasks to other team members
- Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical problems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and other machinery
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
