Position Overview:As a Shipper-Receiver, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the appropriate departments. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of the shipping and receiving process.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving Shipments:Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing lists.
Inspect items for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
Accurately record received items in the inventory management system.
Organize and store received goods in designated locations.

Packing and Shipping: Review shipping requests and ensure all required documents are complete.
Properly package items for safe transport, considering their size, weight, and fragility.
Generate shipping labels and affix them to packages.

Inventory Management:Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Update the inventory system with shipping and receiving information promptly.
Monitor stock for any shortages, damages, or expired items.
Collaborate with the inventory team to address discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Quality Control:Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform final checks to verify that all items are included in the shipment.
Report any quality issues or damaged products to the appropriate personnel.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:Maintain comprehensive records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
File shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading and packing slips.
Prepare and submit required reports to management as needed.

Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the shipping and receiving area.
Comply with relevant regulations and shipping laws.
Handle hazardous materials with caution and according to established protocols.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
