A Step Ahead Orthotics & Prosthetics is looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our team as an Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician Apprentice. No prior experience is required! We provide on-the-job training for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and being part of a team that helps people improve their mobility and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Learn to fabricate custom orthotic braces and prosthetic limbs.
- Assist with hands-on fabrication, assembly, finishing, and modifications.
- Work alongside experienced technicians and practitioners.
- Learn to use specialized tools, materials, and fabrication equipment.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication workspace.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Good hand skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Comfortable with hands-on work and learning new techniques.
No previous orthotics, prosthetics, or fabrication experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right person!
