Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Preschool Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team! As a Preschool Floater, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for young learners by providing flexible classroom support across various preschool settings. Duties
- Assist in supervising children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support lead teachers with classroom management, lesson implementation, and child engagement strategies
- Adapt to different classroom environments by providing consistent care and educational support across multiple age groups
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns that arise
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized care plans and behavior management techniques
- Participate in ongoing training on child development instruction, first aid, CPR, mandated reporting laws, and early childhood education best practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in preschool, daycare, or childcare settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining flexibility across different classrooms
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and toddler care practices
- Demonstrated commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
