Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with autism and other developmental disorders. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to clients, helping them achieve their behavioral goals through structured interventions and positive reinforcement.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses during sessions.
- Assist clients in developing essential skills through structured activities and play.
- Provide patient care and support during daily living activities (ADLs).
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and care plans for each client.
- Collaborate with families to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies at home.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.
Skills
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disorders.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to behavioral therapy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to patient care.
