What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Cleaning Specialist position at A Spare Pair of Hands, LLC?
We are a Christ-centered, Women-run, family-first small business hoping to build our team with reliable people who demonstrate a strong work ethic.
New hires are expected to work Tuesday - Thursday during training and have the potential to work additional days (Monday then Friday) after demonstrating the ability to independently perform at the standard of excellence considered normal for this position.
Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute between jobsites with supplies and have access to reliable cell phone service. Teams meet at home base (zip 40245) at 8:45 a.m. promptly. The day is finished when the work is finished, generally between 3:00 and 4:30.
The ideal candidate:
- Finds cleaning rewarding and relaxing, and has an eye for details
- Is able to follow verbal multiple-step directions independently
- Appreciates structure and systematic-task-oriented work
- Has an excellent visual memory and demonstrates time management skills
- Is able to perform physically laborious cleaning duties for 3-4 hours at a time without a break
- Is punctual and doesn't miss work often
- Craves accountability, is self-motivated, and takes pride in completing their work with excellence
Applicants with Residential Cleaning experience preferred, but Housekeeping or Cleaning of any kind will be considered.
