Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH Management Team member to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a team of hospitality professionals. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction while managing staff and operational procedures efficiently.
Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, customer service, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items.
- Handle POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed in compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house.
- Conduct staff training sessions on customer service excellence, food safety, and operational procedures.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall restaurant management to meet business goals.
- Support catering, banquet events, bar operations, or hotel services as needed to enhance guest experience.
Skills
- Proven leadership in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising experience.
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, food safety, and kitchen management.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations professionally.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, service techniques, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes.
- Experience in casual dining, fine dining, catering or banquet settings is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during shift management.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation standards.
- Leadership qualities including team management, training & development skills, and problem-solving abilities.
