Location: Houston, TX
We are partnered with a growing advisory platform expanding its Cleantech / Energy Transition M&A practice and seeking a Vice President to help drive execution and client delivery. This role is for someone already deep in M&A, with direct experience closing transactions in cleantech, renewables, energy transition, infrastructure, or climate-aligned sectors.
This is not a learning role. This is a leadership seat.
• Lead end-to-end execution on M&A transactions
• Own financial modeling, valuation, and deal materials
• Manage diligence processes and transaction workstreams
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, counterparties, and internal teams
• Partner with senior bankers to shape deal strategy and execution
• Review and mentor Associates and Senior Associates
• Support business development across the cleantech platform
• Vice President or strong Senior Associate ready to step into a VP seat
• Proven M&A transaction experience with closed deals
• Direct experience in cleantech, energy transition, renewables, infrastructure, or related sectors
• Background in investment banking or boutique advisory
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Houston-based or willing to relocate
• Real deal flow with an active pipeline
• Houston as a hub for energy transition and infrastructure M&A
