What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at A Soft Place to Land, LLC?
A Soft Place to Land is seeking to hire and onboard a Registered Dietitian to join our team of clinicians, where we work primarily with those who are struggling with eating disorders/disordered eating, chronic dieting, co-occurring mental health diagnoses, and healing body image.
RD must be willing to offer in person sessions in our office in Bethlehem, PA 2-3x/week.

- Looking to slowly transition to outpatient work, starting around 5 hours minimum weekly with opportunity to increase up to full time hours (20-25 hrs/week)
- Have an understanding and commitment to HAES®, weight inclusive care, and fat positive work with clients
- Experience working in a counseling setting with teens (10yo ) and adults (preferred, not required)
- Experience working with eating disorders. If limited in experience, willingness to be trained in treating/counseling adults and teens experiencing body image concerns and eating disorders

Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian with current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed in State of Pennsylvania
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics and completed internship
- Ability to work up to and hold around 20-25 patient sessions per week
Job Responsibilities
- Perform 1:1 nutrition counseling services to patients and potentially conduct family sessions
- Opportunity to run groups focused on body image or meal support
- Communicate with treatment team members as necessary
- Communicate with patient supports as needed (ie. family/parents)
- Timely completion of assessment/follow up notes and any other documents that may be needed or requested
- Scheduling and billing clients
- Availability for evening appointments twice/week
- Keep patient files accurate and up to date
- Attend weekly supervision and weekly team meetings
Hours: Work hours and schedule may vary depending on patient and A Soft Place to Land's needs. Dietitian is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that you will be available to offer around 20 -25 patient sessions per week. We also require our dietitians to be available for sessions 2 nights/week.
Pay: $51.00/hour Admin time
