Since 2017, A Slice of New York has operated as a worker cooperative, meaning the business is owned and governed by its workers. ASONY serves a variety of made-in-house offerings, including pizza by the slice or whole pies, strombolis, calzones, meatball and chicken parm subs, and garlic knots, in a highly engaged atmosphere with New York décor.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Associste at our San Jose, CA location. You will be expected to learn all roles in the business. Key responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, and ensuring employee safety and hygiene standards are followed. Associates will also interact with customers by taking orders, addressing their needs, and maintaining a clean and welcoming kitchen and dining area. Team collaboration is a significant aspect of daily operations in this role, contributing to a positive work environment and excellent customer experiences.
