CNA/ HHA/ Part Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide in Deltona, Fl . To provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive living environment.
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment, including Hoyer lifts and catheters.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client's living space, including laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients with memory care, dementia care, and Alzheimer's care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining accurate medical documentation in EMR or EHR systems.
• Collaborate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in home health, caregiving, or senior care is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic nursing skills is highly beneficial.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or long-term care settings is a plus.
