Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant classroom setting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and child development instruction. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth aligned with early childhood standards.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and independence among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, development milestones, and any concerns or updates.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child observations, assessments, and incident reports.
- Incorporate specialized techniques such as Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences.
- Supervise classroom staff and assist in training new team members to uphold high-quality childcare standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool and daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood welfare, and behavior management techniques.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and standardized testing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and community outreach.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in Montessori teaching or physical education are advantageous.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and mandated reporting laws.
