Heavy Civil Superintendent

• Servidone Inc. is seeking a Deputy Project Superintendent to support field operations on the I-81 Viaduct Project Phase 2, Contract 6 in Syracuse, New York.
  
  

This is an opportunity to join one of the region's most significant infrastructure projects and take ownership of assigned work scopes within a large, active heavy civil construction environment. Reporting directly to the General Superintendent, you will play a key role in coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and daily field activities to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned scopes of work from planning through execution.

Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and sequencing activities.

Support project schedule objectives and production goals.

Monitor field conditions and proactively address operational challenges.

Work closely with project management, engineering, safety, and quality personnel.

Maintain accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards.

Communicate field progress, constraints, and upcoming resource needs.

Help ensure work is performed according to project requirements and specifications.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of heavy civil construction field leadership experience.

Experience supervising crews and coordinating subcontractors on infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and production planning.

Ability to manage multiple priorities within an active project environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Commitment to safe and efficient project execution.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with HCSS HeavyJob.

Experience working on large-scale transportation or infrastructure projects.

Experience coordinating multiple active work areas simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits

$150,000 - $180,000 annual salary

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
